By allowing social media to pour into every free second of young people’s lives, we’re cultivating a generation of lonely people. Their fear of missing out, and fear of social isolation, drives them to start using every social media channel available. The Unlonely collective is an alternative offline social group that strives to decrease social media use among young people. An unlockable clothing brand, based on the social media channels they choose not to use, allows them to feel a sense of belonging in an offline environment.
